Like other Humann Building Solutions verticals – Systems, Building Control and AV Integration abilities within HumannInc are specifically and functionally interrelated, and, in alignment with our key values staffed by Credentialed Professionals. These integration abilities as well contribute to the enhanced and expanded credibility and work experience globally in fields such as Engineering, Management, Construction Project Management, Owner’s Representation, Building Enclosure Commissioning, Building Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning, Building Sciences, Building ASHRAE and Multi-Attribute Assessments. In fact our NetZero work within the fields of Energy, Water and Carbon require the integration of controls, measurement and monitor functionality to see resource optimization occur.

Our Integration Abilities have been used to great extent by a multitude of clientele and the addition of controllability, sequence of operations specificity, energy savings and ongoing trending and monitoring is a positive set of potential impacts. Our team as a function of our commissioning work do a great deal of validation and integration of Building Systems and Controls. How does integration fit in with all of the other offerings? Humann Building Solutions – Integration follows in the footsteps of Huard Engineering our predecessor who in 1984 initially began offering Professional Integration Services for Audio, Visual, and control with Security, Building Access Control and Building Management since 1988. Humann Building Solutions was formed in 1998 to address the specific needs of several clients who were seeking to work with Building Professionals who would be their Advocates, Owners Representatives, Project Executives and Project Managers to ensure that their needs were addressed. Humann Building Solutions – Integration continues to stay active and credentialed in the fields currently at the level of RTI APEX Master Integrator thus integrating solutions with some of the great electronics and control products including Yamaha, LG, RTI, Lutron, JVC, ecobee, JVC, Jamo, Polk, KEF, Sony, Pioneer, Samsung, JBL, Harmon Industries, Netgear, Apple, Arlo, Screen Innovations, and August for example as a Professional Accounts holder.

As years progressed the natural Engineering overlap with Controls Systems became more apparent. Additionally Amenities offerings for Luxury, Multi-Family and Hospitality properties continued to evolve in complexity. Humann Building Solutions – Integration has followed progress from the move to wireless remote controls from Bang & Olufsen and other innovators we saw the common adoption of these controls for Televisions and then Stereo components. At the same time we were moving from pneumatic controls to logic then to full digital controls for buildings and their systems. Much of the work that we do within other divisions of Humann’s Professional Services Offerings are associated with operable systems in buildings and componentry that consume resources. This is the heart of our ASHRAE Commissioning Services, Building Envelope Commissioning, Operable Systems & Retro Commissioning, WELL Health-Safety Rating for Facility Operations and Management; ASHRAE and AEE Professional Energy Audits, Energy & Resource Operational Optimizations for Energy & Resource Efficiency.
