12-18-2017 Humann Building Solutions Principal Daniel Huard recognized today for expertise for presenting and sharing his expertise at the WaterBuild Summit at Greenbuild 2017. When he was asked about this second recognition for his involvement Daniel provided “I am humbled by the recognition I have received today from Brendan Owens and Kate Hurst both senior staff of U.S. Green Building Council. Over my more than 10 years of involvement with U.S. Green Building Council staff have been so generous, gracious and approachable making my commitment to transform the way buildings are designed and constructed easy to commit to”. Huard further added “Greenbuild 2017 held in Boston, Massachusetts just over a month ago from November 7th thru November 10th 2017 was my busiest Greenbuild to date, I facilitated sessions, was an organizing team member for WaterBuild where I also presented and then I had the honor of being invited by Kohler one of the event’s major sponsors to be a panelist in their new format kiosk presentations on water efficiency when no infrastructure exists. I need to recognize Jeremy Sigmon LEED® AP BD+C, Director Technical Policy, USGBC for all of the support that he provided as well as his ongoing friendship. All of these commitments were followed by my formal induction as a LEED Fellow on November 9th, 2017 with so many of my colleagues and family attending in support as well, quite a busy week. Again I am so honored that I was selected to present and yes I will participate in 2018 if my colleagues at USGBC will have me”.
The recognition letter follows:
