Daniel Huard recognized today for outstanding leadership – WaterBuild 2017
12-18-2017 Humann Building Solutions Principal Daniel Huard recognized today for outstanding leadership for his contributions to WaterBuild 2017. When he was asked about his involvement Daniel provided like many of my mentors I really enjoy when I am able to make contributions to a more Sustainable Future. Huard works hard and enjoys seeing the Green Building, Sustainability and Restorative Development make forward strides. Huard further added sometimes it is difficult to make the time to be involved in an advisory role on a board of directors or in this case the planning of an International Summit the would set the tone for Greenbuild 2017 held in Boston, Massachusetts just over a month ago on November 7th, 2017 yet the success of the Summit makes all of the effort worthwhile I am so honored that I was asked to contribute. The recognition letter follows:
Dear Daniel Huard,
On behalf of the U.S. Green Building Council, we would like to thank you for your outstanding leadership on the Advisory Group for to the WaterBuild Summit at Greenbuild 2017. This year’s summit inspired and challenged our attendees to think critically on issues affecting our most important resource – water.
Greenbuild 2017 was one of our most thought-provoking and engaging conferences yet, drawing thousands of building industry professionals from across the globe to Boston for a celebration of groundbreaking practices in sustainability. We’ve already received very positive feedback about the thoughtfully curated summits, educational offerings, speakers, events and exhibits that activated the unprecedented energy at Greenbuild Boston.
The WaterBuild Summit focused on resilience to climate and storm related community stresses, with specific emphasis placed on the role of innovative infrastructure solutions. The program this Advisory Group helped create was thought-provoking, innovative and timely.
Thank you again for your contributions, and for helping make WaterBuild truly remarkable. We hope to see you in Chicago for Greenbuild 2018.
Sincerely,
Brendan Owens
