Huard provided is happy to announce that his USGBC colleagues asked if he would be available to host the US Green Building Councils Legislative Director at the National Clean Energy Summit 7.0 to be held at Mandalay Bay Resorts & Casino, Las Vegas on Thursday, September 4, 2014. Huard needed no time to join in on the Leadership and Advocacy efforts since he already is the Western Region Emerging Professionals Recruitment Chair, serves on the USGBC Western Regional Council as Governance Chair and alternate delegate and finally is the 2014 USGBC Nevada Chapter President. Huard’s advocacy efforts have already helped to contribute the Nevada AB33 the piece of legislation that provides a partial property tax abatement to projects that attain LEED or Green Globes Certifications and hit a minimum level of Energy Efficiency.
